Develop your embodied intuition and learn to read astrology charts through an experiential, somatic lens.
This course combines recordings from a live intensive led by Renee in 2021 with additional recordings of somatic practices for the 12 zodiacal signs and 12 planets. It includes access to virtual community space with Renee and fellow course participants.
In this course, you will:
Learn to identify, interpret, and synthesize the three main components of an astrology chart: signs, planets, and houses.
Learn to apply foundational principles of embodied astrology in chart interpretation, including: bodily rulerships, common symptoms and presentations, and energetic and postural patterns of the signs and planets.
Gain skills to increase embodied intuition through meditation, visualization, and experiential anatomy.
Practice communicating about astrology with somatic terminology.
Practice applying embodied chart reading methods in real time.
Embodied Astrology is an intuitive and empowering approach to astrology that begins in the body. Signs, planets, and houses in an astrology chart all hold associations to specific body parts/regions, organs, hormones, and physiological functions. Each astrological symbol is also associated with specific emotional/energetic patterns and postures. Using this approach, you’ll learn to translate astrology through your own body and bodily memory, explore interpreting charts through embodied intuition rather than mental processes, and communicate with those whose charts you are reading in ways that invite them more deeply into their somatic experience and wisdom.
This workshop is specifically designed for bodyworkers and healers, therapists, physical performers/dancers/actors, and others who are interested in the intersections of astrology and somatics. Intermediate and advanced astrologers will gain somatic techniques and perspectives that will help deepen and integrate their practices, while beginning astrologers will appreciate an approach to this symbolic language that leaves a majority of the math and complicated delineation rules behind and gives access to astrology through the immediate wisdom of the sensing body.
