Revolutionary Dreaming: In Conversation with Dream Conduit Blanca Villalobos

The Moon moved into Sagittarius last night, a sign which holds symbolism of questing, journeying and reaching for meaning in all that’s unknown. As I am typing these words, the Moon is entering into a trine with Chiron in Aries, a symbol I am holding as an invitation to reckon and reconnect with the various ways we humans have been split and severed from the innate, earthly, animal intelligence of our bodies and our embodied connection with Earth. One of the ways we might approach working with the Moon is through developing our intuition and learning to listen for the wisdom that abides within the deep sensations that run through our bodies and emotions. One of the ways we might approach working with Chiron is through developing relationships with ancestral imprints and energetics, reaching far back into our cellular memories to locate the spaces and places where we hold their traumas as well as their wisdom.

There are many ways that our guides, ancestors, and intuition assist us on our life’s journey. The tingles we get when we feel love and joy. The feeling in our gut that tells us something is wrong. The symbols our dreams bring us. Our intuition and dreams serve as paths of communication between our bodies on Earth and our spirit beyond. In this month’s special guest episode, Blanca Villalobos shares how she has cultivated relationships with her spirit guides, ancestors, and dream-body and how she assists others in learning to listen to their own intuitions and the messages that come through their dreams.

TICKETS ARE STILL AVAILABLE for this Sunday’s special lunar attunement ritual with guests Ramon & Michelle Gabrieloff-Parish. In this ritual we’ll work through embodiment to understand the eclipse’s astrological symbolism for culture shift and transformative justice and explore our own directives in this pivotal time. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Front Line Farming a food and farmers advocacy group focusing on food growing, education, sovereignty and justice.

Michelle Gabrieloff-Parish has been the Assistant Director for Energy & Climate Justice at CU Boulder’s Environmental Center and now works at the innovative Movement Strategy Center in Oakland, California. She is a former US State Department BoldFood fellow (Uganda), a former Center for Progressive Leadership fellow. She is the founder of Candelas Glows raising awareness about the radioactive dangers of Rocky Flats—a nuclear superfund site turned “wildlife refuge” essentially in her back yard, is a facilitator for Joanna Macy’s “Work That Reconnects,” and is an instructor of permaculture design. Michelle is a multi-ethnic poet, wife, and mother of three.

Ramon Gabrieloff-Parish has developed a pedagogy that synthesizes mindfulness, embodiment, social justice, the environment, mentoring and ritual & ceremony for over a decade. As a core candidate Assistant Professor In Naropa University’s Interdisciplinary Studies department he teaches foundations in contemplative learning and theory, diversity and social identity and sustainability. He also focuses on the equity dimensions of the environment through courses in food and environmental justice. He serves as a freelance educator, lecturer and consultant on the links between social justice, sustainability and mindfulness for universities, outdoor organizations, non-profits, government and businesses.

Front Line Farming seeks to support and create greater leadership and access for women and people of color in food systems. They achieve these goals through growing food, listening, educating, honoring land and ancestors, policy initiatives, and direct action. Front Line Farming operates as a multi-plot farm committed to providing food to people of all income levels by sustainably growing affordable local food in the Denver Metro Area. They engage communities through educating youth and neighbors on growing food and promoting healthy, active, lifestyles, beautifying neighborhoods with edible landscapes, and reducing the distance from farm to plate.
