The Embodied Astrology Libra Season workshop takes place on the day that Mercury stations direct, after its retrograde through the tropical signs of Libra and Virgo. As Mercury begins its next cycle of forward motion, its movements combine with Mars in Gemini and Vesta and Saturn in Aquarius, stimulating the zodiacal triplicity of Air.
As a metaphysical symbol, the Air element relates with respiration and our most fundamental pathways of reciprocity and exchange. As a conduit for information, Air brings us into the linguistic, conceptual, and abstract realms of relationship. Energetically, it stimulates and opens our minds and capacities for perception, asking us to inquire into differences, hold contrast, negotiate (im)balance, and expand our awareness through dialogue, mediation, meditation, intelligence, and observation.
In this seasonal workshop, we’ll map the upcoming 6 months of important transits through air signs, focusing on Mars’ upcoming retrograde in Gemini and Saturn’s last months in Aquarius before it enters Pisces (where it will transit until 2026) in order to help us align and organize our objectives with particular emphasis on the activities and themes these placements speak to in our natal charts. Orienting within Libra Season’s transits and lunations, we’ll consider the clues and invitations that Mercury and Venus in Libra and Vesta in Aquarius offer to us presently.
