An Afrofuturist & Astrological Festival, Oceanic Maroons is a hybrid between a festival and a conference.

Using rare astronomical alignments as a calendar this event centers African diasporic healing, contemplative, artistic and educational practices to gather communities to conceive new visions of shared identity and collective futures.

This all day, multi-day event takes place both in person at Naropa University, online and in hybrid spaces. It consists of workshops, celebrations, meditative and rest practices and powerful and visionary speakers. Open to all people, all ages.
