Sagittarius Season in 2022 marks a completion point in Jupiter’s 12-year orbit around the sun and invites us to reflect on what we’ve learned and how we’ve grown since 2010. It’s now time to integrate our lessons and prepare for the next adventure. Jupiter‘s ingress into Aries on December 21 initiates a new cycle which holds promise and caution in equal measure and asks us to align our actions and intentions as we continue to co-create the worlds we’re part of.
As the planetary ruler of Sagittarius and Pisces, Jupiter’s symbol offers abundance and opportunity to expand our options, grow our gifts, and generate goodwill. It also asks us to attend to excess and adapt when we’ve gone astray. When Jupiter transits Aries, it promises to magnify potentials in leadership, courage, and conviction. This transit wants to help you harness your personal power and celebrate your strengths. It also wants to help you heal the rifts and wounds of toxic individualism, arrogance, and egoism.
In this workshop, we’ll make a map of Jupiter’s movements until it enters Taurus mid-May and consider what seeds are being planted now for the next 12 years of growth. Applying this map to our natal charts, we’ll route the best paths for our projects, visions, longings, and intuitions. Calling upon the archetypes of mystics, centaurs, and dragons, we’ll intelligently apply our magic, fire, and ferocity towards creative destruction of what’s reached its end and generative ideation of what’s to come.
