This is a recording of a live workshop that took place during Gemini season 2022.

In this workshop, Renee offers somatic practices that help deepen our awareness of Mercurial movements and Gemini’s terrain and writing/drawing practices that support translation and interpretation of our bodily cues and interoception.

In the astrological tradition, the sign Gemini is associated with the development of the mind, language, semiotics, interpretation, and translation. A sign of intellect, quirkiness, queerness, and mutability, Gemini collects and compares information, plays tetris with the data and reconfigures, reimagines, and relays it through a myriad of forms. Gemini’s planetary ruler, Mercury, is known as a psychopomp, trickster, and keeper of crossroads. Working with Gemini and Mercury in our charts and transits gives us expanded access to multiplicity, curiosity, perspective, intelligence, detail, and humor!

Gemini Season in 2022 begins with Mercury’s retrograde solar conjunction at the first degree of Gemini and re-entry into the late degrees of Taurus where it will make several important aspects in its retrograde cycle before stationing direct on June 3 and returning to Gemini on June 13.

In this seasonal workshop, we’ll explore somatic practices that help deepen our awareness of Mercurial movements and Gemini’s terrain and writing/drawing practices that support translation and interpretation of our bodily cues and interoception. An overview of Gemini Season’s astrology highlights will be given, with suggestions for working the most important planetary aspects and the new and full moons. Participants will be given support to read these aspects into their own charts and natal placements.

This workshop is open to all, and all levels of astrological experience. All seasonal workshops are included in Embodied Astrology’s tiered memberships.
