This is a recording of a live workshop that took place during Leo season 2022.

In this workshop, Renee offers methods for engaging Leo’s archetypes and embodied, energetic signatures as points of departure for activism and meaningful social engagement. We explore where and how we can best express our authentic offerings and bighearted generosities in ways that serve and support our interconnections.

What is there to celebrate when the world is burning?
Should we still make art when death overwhelms us?

Leo Season’s astrology in 2022 emphasizes the necessity for creative communal responses to a global pandemic, generational and mounting social inequities and violences, and intensifying environmental collapse. Astrological aspects throughout Leo Season stress the need for individuals to work together to support and uplift diversity of perspective and localized solutions as collective response.

In our bodies, Leo governs the heart, spine, and circulatory system. A symbol of vitality, courage, enthusiasm and celebration, Leo’s placements in our charts long to self-actualize and express and experience sensations of specialness. Leo’s opposite sign Aquarius is a symbol of connective tissues, evolutionary intelligence, and the ways networks work to organize energy and movement.

In this seasonal workshop, we’ll engage Leo’s archetypes and embodied, energetic signatures as points of departure for activism and meaningful social engagement. Working with Leo and Aquarius placements in our charts, we’ll explore where and how we can best express our authentic offerings and bighearted generosities in ways that serve and support our interconnections. An astrological overview of Leo Season’s planetary transits and lunar phases will be given, with suggestions for working with these aspects in your own chart.⁣
