An Embodied Astrology Workshop with Renee Sills

This is a recording of a live workshop took place during Taurus season 2022.

In this workshop, Renee offers a somatic practice that activates the connection between Taurus (mouth/jaw) and Scorpio (genitals/anus) in order to come closer to our desires and their satisfaction and research the ways fears and blockages arise in relationship to our wants/needs and our inner narratives of worthiness/unworthiness.

Often a slow and steady sign, Taurus Season in 2022 is here for something different. As eclipses enter the axis of Taurus/Scorpio they activate Uranus’ 8-year generational transit (2018-2026) and add urgency to impulses towards liberation, evolution, and revolution.

The earthiest of all earth signs, Taurus rules over the weight and density of our bodies, our mouths, jaws, tongues, and tastes. It wants pleasure, comfort, creativity, beauty, material abundance, and sensory delight. The presence of Uranus, eclipse activity, and the movement of Taurus’ ruler Venus through Pisces and Aries imply that this is a time for innovation, self-direction, and new orientations in the ways we use our bodies and voices and how we empower ourselves and others to occupy our embodied existence and earthly home.

In this seasonal workshop, we’ll explore a somatic practice that activates the connection between Taurus (mouth/jaw) and Scorpio (genitals/anus) in order to come closer to our desires and their satisfaction and research the ways fears and blockages arise in relationship to our wants/needs and our inner narratives of worthiness/unworthiness.

An astrological overview of Taurus Season’s most important transits will be given, along with suggestions for working with these aspects in your own chart to take advantage of opportunities to get more free, connected with earth and your body, aligned with your capacity for manifestation and attraction, and focused with the ways you want to enliven your creative genius, inner (or outer) weirdo, and embody your wildly sumptuous and sensual self.
